This is a big game taking place on Wednesday evening when Huddersfield in last place take on Burnley in 18^th.

The home side are starting to lose touch with safety and have dropped 5 points behind so this game has become incredibly vital to win. The clubs 14^th loss from 20 games was confirmed at the weekend in a 1-0 loss to Fulham. This was unfortunate as they played their part in the game and had the same number of shots on target (5) as The Cottagers. Home form has been poor and they have racked up 3 straight losses in a row.

Burnley had some sort of respite from a very poor season as they rolled back to the team who delighted us last season in a comprehensive 2-0 victory over in form West Ham. Not many could have seen it coming and it was a massive 3 points for Sean Dyche’s team.

A win here could see Burnley leapfrog Southampton and in the process dump them into the bottom three and they may fancy their chances after beating The Hammers which was only their 4^th win of the season.

Burnley: Robert Brady is finally nearing a return and will be assessed ahead of his match. Steven Defour looks like a doubt for this game after his knock has kept him out of the majority of matches in December
