And so it is over to Manchester City who can go top of the table and really put the psychological pressure on Arsenal in this exciting title race. This kick off is at lunchtime Saturday and Arsenal do not play until Sunday so this result could mean everything good or bad for the Gunners.
But let’s talk about Fulham first who sit in 13th place. Granted they will finish mid-table and this season hasn’t been the club’s best, however the Cottagers have also struggled in the past and at least they have had a very safe season and at times have been able to pull out some fantastic results. Recent form has seen the club draw their last two games in a row which have come against Crystal Palace and Brentford and at home they have no wins in their last three. This includes two back to back defeats which came against Newcastle and Liverpool and the clubs last win at home was almost two months ago when they overcame Tottenham.
Manchester City are in 2nd place but just a point behind leaders Arsenal, but they also have a game in hand. The champions are playing at a superb level and scoring goals and last weekend they demolished Wolves 5-1. Forward Erling Haaland who hasn’t quite had such a spectacular season as last reminded everyone why he is one of the most dangerous centre forwards in world football by scoring his 6th hat trick in England as he roared to 4 goals and tamed Wolves. City have scored 20 goals in their last five games and are looking like champions once again but they cannot afford to slip up when they visit London. The club have won their last 3 games away from home and have collected 38 points from 51 on the road.

Fulham: Harrison Reed is the clubs only concern ahead of this game with a knock and he will be assessed.
Manchester City: Presently the champions do not have any injuries coming into this game.

Manchester City are a best priced 1.25 to win the game which is going to put off some backers. City has a fantastic record over their opponents and are going for the league title while Fulham are playing for a position of 13th and 12th. It looks very clear how this game should pan out but of course in football you never know and the 1.25 isn’t going to make anyone jump out of their seats. As we try to find better value in this game backing City to be leading at half time could be one choice. Of course it is hard to ignore Erling Haaland who has scored 5 goals in his last two games and the last time these two clubs met he scored a hat trick, so backing him to score 2 or more gives us a decent price. Of note it is interesting to see that Fulham have managed to score against City in their last four games and so both teams to score could be a good choice also.
