The club have spent big this summer capturing Aleksander Mitrovic from Newcastle for £22m and Jean Michael Seri from Nice for £18m.

Crystal Palace made a miraculous escape from the clutches of relegation last season as Roy Hodgson steered the club clear of danger. He again will take the reins and will be hoping for a top half finish. Palace had a successful pre season remaining unbeaten and winning 5 of their 6 matches. A mini Scandanavian tour was rounded off by beating Toulouse at home 4-1.

The signing of Max Meyer from Schalke is interesting and the club also swooped for West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyate for almost £10m, otherwise they have been quiet bringing in players.
