England Premier League
Saturday 24th November 2018
Kick off at 3pm GMT
Venue: Goodison Park
Match Preview:
Everton really impressed in going to Stamford Bridge before the international break and getting a 0-0 result against Chelsea who are unbeaten this season. Manager Marco Silva has his team playing for him after a few speed bumps at the beginning of the season and it has to be encouraging for any Evertonian to not only see form but also a club who have conceded just 2 goals in 360 minutes of football.
The Toffees will return back to Goodison Park and will be the favourites to win this game when they take on newly promoted Cardiff.
Everton have won 10 points from their last 15 and on form they would be in top 5 of the league. Instead their 9th, but a win here and other results going their way and they could move up at least two more places. At Goodison Park they come into this game having won their last 3 matches which came against Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brighton and in those games they have conceded just 1 goal.
Richarlison has been in rich form for the club too and also scored for Brazil recently in their mini tour of games in the UK. The team come here in very good confidence.
Cardiff meanwhile are 18th, although not all is lost given how close it is down there and a win or a point could move them out of the bottom three. Neil Warnock’s side were boosted in their last game as they beat Brighton at home 2-1. This was only Cardiff’s 2nd win of the season. On the road Cardiff are still searching for their first win where they have won just 1 point from a possible 15.
