Betting Tip Previews:Our first selection (Asian handicap +1.0 Leicester) should actually be very safe if we look at recent form and events. Since Ranieri's sacking, Leicester are playing more like the team that won the Premier League Title last season, and that's no dig at Ranieri because i personally believe a players professionalism should dictate whether they choose to play to the best of their ability. They have won their last two games, against Liverpool and Hull, with 3-1 score lines, and there appears to be a renewed sense of desire about the team. Leicester come into this Champions League 2nd leg tie against Sevilla with a 2-1 deficit but a vital away goal, so they will be out to win the match tonight at the King Power Stadium. Sevilla on the other hand would be happy if the match ended in a draw, so in terms of mental playing attitude, Sevilla have less incentive to be pushing hard for the win. On top of that, Sevilla's recent form has been underwhelming, with two 1-1 draws in their last two games, and they have had only 3 days rest before playing this match tonight, compared to 10 days for Leicester. Sevilla are still the quality side, however, form, home advantage, incentive to win, and a very good handicap in this selection, all go in Leicester's favour, which is why this selection should have a good chance.
Our second selection (Double chance - Brentford or draw) should also stand a great chance if we look at recent form, with my only concerns being these aren't the most reliable teams or the most reliable league. Since losing 2-1 to Birmingham in November, Brentford have gone on a decent run of form at home. Losing only 2 of their 9 home games in all competitions, and they were only narrow defeats to teams in the top 3 positions, Newcastle and Huddersfield. Their opponents tonight (Wolves) are one of those teams who actually seem to play better away from home, however their recent form has been pretty poor. Wolves only just managed to record a 1-0 home win against Rotherham in their last encounter, and Rotherham are a team who have only managed 1 point on the road all season, and before that game Wolves had only managed 1 draw and 6 losses from their previous 7 games in all competitions. Wolves are really struggling for form and confidence, and although Brentford might not be reliable enough to back a home win in this game, it would be very unlikely for them to lose this match at Griffin Park.
