Leagues: England Vanarama National League South

N.B. Double Suggestions are posted when the fixture choice is poor and the confidence levels aren't high enough for an official "Premium Double".

Dartford vs Margate Betting Tip Preview:
Our first selection (Asian handicap -1 Dartford) is my preferred choice on another terrible day of football fixtures. They currently sit in 3rd position in the League, which puts them deep into the play-off positions, however they are unlikely to be able to close the 9 point gap to Maidenhead at the top of the table in order to get the automatic promotion position. They have performed very strongly at home this season, winning 12 of their 17 home games, and losing only 2, scoring 34 goals (2 per game on average) and conceding only 16. On top of that, they have already beaten today's opponents (Margate) 2-0 away from home earlier in the season, which should give them the psychological edge. Margate are bottom of the league and their away performances are a major factor, with only 4 points scored from a possible 51. They have managed only 7 goals away from home, yet have conceded 31. So if they score less than 1 away goal every 2 matches, they are unlikely to pose much of a threat at Dartford where they concede less than a goal per game on average. On paper this should be an easy 3 points for the home side, however with this being the Vanarama National League South, anything can happen.

Poole Town vs Truro City Betting Tip Preview:
Our second selection (Asian handicap -1 Poole Town) carries a little more risk, mainly because Truro City pose more goal threat away from home than Margate in selection one. Poole Town though are a strong team and are fighting for a play-off position, and their home form is far superior to their away form, which is a good thing as they only managed a 0-0 draw away to Truro City Earlier in the season. Away from home Poole Town have a win rate of just over 41%, yet when they have home advantage their win rate increases to over 62%. This is because their entire game seems to improve, they are more prolific goal scorers, and they are far tighter in defence, making Poole a difficult place for any team to visit. Truro City are struggling down in 19th position and have lost their last 3 games, and although they pose more of a goal threat than Margate, they have conceded a massive 81 goals in 34 games this season, with 47 of those coming in their 17 away games. Away from home Truro have lost their last 7 consecutive games, all of which by a 2 or more goal margin, so the chances of a strong side like Poole with home advantage getting a win today should be pretty high.
