Crystal Palace vs Tottenham: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Sunday 25th February 2018
Kick off at 12noon GMT
Venue: Selhurst Park

Match Preview:

Crystal Palace will have a huge game on their hands when they welcome the visit of high flying Tottenham for Sunday lunchtime. Palace have done ever so well to climb out of the bottom three but they are still only a point clear of the danger zone and have yet to kick on, this is a game that will undeniably test them.

Manager Roy Hodgson has stayed optimistic throughout a difficult season and at least at Selhurst Park that has worked for the club where they have picked up 8 points from their last 15 and have lost just one game. It’s as clear as daylight for Palace, home form will keep them up.

Tottenham have not lost a Premier League game since mid December and are in 5th place. Whilst some may think the side have taken a step backwards this season they are still in the hunt for a top 4 place and only a point separates them from it.

Spurs have drawn their last two away matches but with 6 win and 4 losses they have a solid record on the road which would put them in the top five.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Prediction:

Though Palace still get the odd hiding they are no longer whipping boys and especially at home the club can frustrate even better quality opponents. Tottenham can win the game but they will be made to work very hard for this victory. Backing the home team on the handicap could be the way to go here.
