England Premier League
Monday 5th March 2018
Kick off at 8pm GMT
Venue: Selhurst Park
Match Preview:
Crystal Palace have a huge game on Monday evening but despite the freezing weather this game should be a sell out when they host Manchester United.
Palace have battled hard to get out of the bottom three but they are still in 17th place and could easily be dragged down again given their dismal recent form which has seen them without a win since mid January. From the past five games they have gained just 2 points. At home last weekend they lost narrowly to Tottenham by 1-0 and manager Roy Hodgson will set up his team to make life very difficult for Monday's opponents.
Manchester United have not been consistant which has hurt what little chance they had to catch up to Manchester City. The gap is now 16 points and it’s fair to say that City will go on and win the league this season. For United it’s about pride and hanging on for 2nd place a position they have kept for much of the season.
United have lost their last two away games though one was to Tottenham and the other against manager Jose Mourinho’s bogey team Newcastle where he just can’t get a win at St James Park. Otherwise the Red Devils will be favourites to get all three points on Monday night.
