Crystal Palace have found consistent form at the perfect time and at the weekend they continued that with a 4-1 win over Leicester which ended up costing Claude Puel his job.

Palace are up to 13^th after going 4 games unbeaten and while they have reached the 30 point mark and have a 6 point advantage over the bottom three they would welcome a couple of more wins before feeling safe.

The Eagles have gone their last two games undefeated at home with a win over Fulham and a draw against West Ham. Defensively they have remained strong conceding just 12 goals at home all season but they have also only scored 9.

Manchester United are still unbeaten under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the league. And the club have had some serious tests, last weekend it was against Liverpool and that match finished 0-0. The draw meant that Arsenal leapfrogged them to move into 4^th position and the race for the top 4 really is up for grabs.

Whilst United have lost 4 games away from home their recent record is fantastic with 5 wins in a row, their last away game ended in a 3-0 victory over Fulham.

Manchester United: Ander Herrera looks set to miss the game with a hamstring injury. Jesse Lingard came back from injury only to suffer another hamstring problem and looks like he will be ruled out of this game. Anthony Martial will be assessed after his groin injury. Juan Mata looks out with a hamstring injury. Nemanja Matic is out with a muscle injury and is not due back until early March

For a team that are in the bottom half of the league their defence isn’t as poor as one might think and they are good at springing surprises on teams who do not come prepared. Manchester United picked up some key injuries in their draw against Liverpool and Palace are just the type of team that could give Ole’s team a tough time. It is why Palace are not long odds to win this game and are being quoted at 3.75 and that is shortening. This could be a difficult evening for United even if they do boost the superior team.
