A 3-2 loss away to West Ham last weekend means that Crystal Palace remain in the danger zone in 16^th place with 12 points. Roy Hodgson’s team are just 2 points clear of the bottom three. But the team did play good football at the London Stadium and Hodgson will be hoping that they took something from that game, as they face another very difficult tie this weekend.

Palace have won just 1 game in their past five and at home they have the 2^nd to worst record in the league with just 1 win all season. The good news is that sole victory did come in their last game here which was won 2-0 against Burnley.

Leicester are in 9^th place and are drawing too many games to think that they could finish many positions higher. They have like Palace just one win in their past 5 matches and lost last weekend 2-0 at home to Tottenham.

Away form has been decent in recent weeks as they are unbeaten in their last 3 games with a win over Cardiff and back to back draws which came against Brighton and Fulham. From 8 games they have won 3, lost 3 and drawn 2.

Crystal Palace: James Tomkins misses this game after a one match suspension for picking up five yellow cards this season. Wilfried Zaha who is a big loss for the home side also misses this game for the same reason. Patrick Van Aanholt has a shoulder injury he picked up in the defeat at West Ham but will be assessed before this game.

Leicester: Ben Chilwell will be assessed ahead of the game after a knee injury. It is expected that Jamie Vardy could feature after a minor injury problem last weekend.
