Match Preview:

This years FA Cup final will be an all Premier League clash against heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester United and will be an incredibly anticipated match.

Both clubs have had underwhelming seasons given that United have won nothing so far and in the end were just happy to come runners up to the far superior Manchester City in the league.

For Chelsea it has been worse, starting this season as deserved champions Antonio Conte’s team struggled to find consistency which ended up costing them a top 4 place and they will be playing in the Europa League next season as a consequence. To add spice to the fixture Chelsea was of course Manchester United’s boss Jose Mourinho’s last job and there is no love lost between Mourinho and Conte.

In the last few weeks of the league it was clear that both clubs had dropped down a gear and they were saving themselves for this game, the FA Cup has ended up being the deciding factor as to whether one of these clubs has had a decent or poor season.

Chelsea vs Manchester Utd Team News:

Chelsea: Thibaut Courtois is expected to return, however David Luiz remains out of action.

Manchester United: Marouane Felliani will be assessed after receiving a muscle injury. Romelu Lukaku is set to return for the final after his foot injury ruled him out of the last two weeks of games

Quality wise there is very little between the teams and this game should be a very close encounter that will begin with a lot of caution. When a side coached by Mourinho reaches a final they rarely lose. In fact in major cup finals Mourinho has lost just once as coach of Real Madrid and his record stands at 13 finals and one loss. He will set Utd up to win at all costs. Chelsea under Conte have showed too much naivety and we go for Utd to win the cup. Do not take the better price of 90 minute football only when the game could go beyond that. But our main bet will be to see more goals as the game goes on.
