Celta Vigo vs Manchester Utd Betting Tip Preview:This Europa League semi-final 1st leg match is very difficult to call for so many reasons. Firstly it's the Europe League, which is notoriously unpredictable, secondly the teams are from different leagues so there is a lack of relevant historical data to use, and finally recent league form can't really be trusted as both these teams now might be pinning their hopes entirely on this competition for Champions League football next season. What we do know though, is that despite Man Utd's difficult run of injuries and numerous fixtures, they have remained incredibly difficult to beat. Losing just 1 of their last 22 games in all competitions, and that was a red card affected 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup. Now Celta Vigo are a decent Spanish side, who play nice football and have a decent home record of 9 wins, 1 draw, and 7 losses, however 4 of those home losses were in their last 5 home games, so it's difficult to know how much to read into their home record. What we do know is they are unlikely to be as good as Chelsea, and Man Utd should (fingers crossed) be able to keep 11 men on the pitch tonight. Therefore it should be unlikely that they will beat Man Utd, especially with
a few key Man Utd players returning to training.
Aarau vs FC Zurich Betting Tip Preview:I would have preferred Zurich to have been the home side tonight, but it's either this or we pick a game from Croatia or Egypt, so sometimes we just have to make do. What put me off going for a Zurich win tonight is that two of their previous encounters this season have had injury time goals from Zurich rescue points, therefore maybe Aarau are a team they find a little tricky. That being said, all three of their encounters this season have had 2 or more goals, had both teams score, and had 1 or more goals in the 1st half, so goals should be the safer route today. The value is with BTTS at odds of 1.83, and that's
today's single, however i feel a safer option with reasonable odds is for a goal in the first half. Now with our selection "1st half goal line - Over 0.5,1.0", one goal would give a partial win and 2 or more would give a full win. 2 or more in the first half could be tough, but 1 goal should be very likely, and not losing is always first priority with the doubles. Both these teams average over 3 goals per game, and with their last two encounters containing 6 goals in the 1st halves of the matches alone, then to get 1 or more goals in the first half of today's match seems very likely.
