Cardiff have not had the best of starts this season and that has been compounded by being dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Norwich in midweek when they lost 3-1.

However manager Neil Warnock’s main priority will be to keep his side in the Premier League and after 3 games they are still looking for their first win. They have drawn their last two games which came against Newcastle and Huddersfield, and this will be just their 2^nd home game of the season where they will understandibly start as underdogs.

For Arsenal it was all about last weekend when they had to beat West Ham. Despite going a goal behind and not playing very well they managed a 3-1 victory. However there was also off the field rumours that manager Unai Emery had an argument with Mesut Ozil and at the eleventh hour he did not play - the official line is that he became ill.
