There are 3 teams in the Premier League currently searching for their first win of the season and Cardiff are one of them. Neil Warnock’s team have been involved in some close games but despite that they are bottom of the league.

A narrow 1-0 loss away to Tottenham in their last game means that the side have lost 5 games in a row and are conceding on average 2 goals a game. At home they have just 1 point from a possible 12 but apart from the 5-0 mauling at the hands of Manchester City the team have been decent in front of their home fans, only losing 3-2 to Arsenal and Burnley won here 2-1.

Fulham are almost as bad in 17^th place and in fact Cardiff could leapfrog them if they get a win and a few goals. The Cottagers have lost 3 of their last 4 games and away from home they currently have the worst record in the league where from 4 games they have just 1 point. They are almost conceding 3 goals a game on the road, which will be a worry to everyone attached to the club.

Cardiff: Aron Gunnarsson’s injury continues with a knee problem and he is set to miss this game. Joe Ralls is serving a 3 game suspension after his sending off against Tottenham. Daniel Ward will be assessed ahead of this match after his calf injury earlier this month

Fulham: Tom Cairney had a setback with his ankle injury and it is unclear whether he will be fit for this match
