England Premier League
Sunday 30th September 2018
Kick off at 4pm BST
Venue: Cardiff City Stadium
Match Preview:
Cardiff are finding life in the Premier League very difficult and whilst they have shown glimpses of their potential in certain moments in games Neil Warnock’s side are still without a win as we approach the end of September.
They come into this game on a 3 game losing streak and have scored just 3 goals all season. Usually we can start to tell the teams that will face a relegation battle through the lack of goals they have and this is a genuine worry for Cardiff right now who sit in 19th place.
They have had some difficult home games including playing Arsenal and Manchester City but they could also only draw 0-0 with troubled Newcastle.
Burnley finally woke up last weekend and showed why they were so popular with pundits and media last season when they demolished Bournemouth 4-0. It was a great display by Sean Dyche’s side and it was their first win of the season after such a troubled start. The club will hope to build on that as they go in search of their first away win now.
Team News:
Cardiff: Lee Peltier and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing are both out, and Aron Gunnarsson is doubtful for this match.
Burnley: Ben Gibson is out for at least 2 weeks after his hernia operation. Robert Brady hopes to be back in contention after fitness problems

Cardiff vs Burnley Prediction:
Just the one game this Sunday in the Premier League but should be an entertaining one that could be played like a cup match. However you can’t help feeling that both teams would be happy with a point. To put the chances in our favour we will back the draw at half time.
At the same time the game should open up in the 2nd half and both teams could score, quality wise Burnley are the better team but at this moment there isn’t too much between the clubs and Warnock will set his team up to defend deep and not to concede too many.
