A penny for Sean Dyche’s thoughts? Whilst Burnley have been one of the most impressive pound for pound teams in the Premier League this season the last few weeks has been a nightmare for The Clarets. They have picked up just 2 points from their past 15 on offer with losses over Swansea, Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

Burnley will of course be safe but they won’t finish any higher than 7^th given that they 9 points adrift of 6^th placed Arsenal. Burnley haven’t won a game at home in over two months and are under pressure to perform.

Southampton’s recent loss to Liverpool kept them in 18^th place but a win here should take them into safety, Up until the loss to the Reds the Saints had gone on a 4 game unbeaten run, although 3 of those matches were draws.

Though The Saints have only won 2 games away from home the encouraging news is that they have gone the past 3 games on the road undefeated and will be looking to pick up something from this match.
