England Premier League
Saturday 14th April 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Turf Moor
Match Preview:
Outside of the elite teams Burnley and Leicester have been very impressive this season and so a meeting of the two teams will be very interesting. Currently Burnley in 7th position have a chance to challenge Arsenal for 6th as they are 5 points behind but a loss here could well dash those hopes. Leicester are in 8th position and are 6 points behind Burnley so a win would be huge for them.
Burnley are one of the most in-form teams in the league where they have won 4 consecutive games, although apart from their win against Everton every other victory has been against a bottom half team. Recent form at home for Burnley doesn’t make for easy reading with just 1 win from their past five matches.
Leicester suffered a blow at home last weekend when they lost 2-1 to Newcastle and in fact the Foxes have been in poor form picking up just 6 points from their last 15 with no wins in the league since beating Watford back in January. Away from home form has been mixed however they come into this match having won their last two games on the road.
