Brighton vs Wolves: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Saturday 27th October 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Amex Stadium

Match Preview:

Brighton have bounced back in recent weeks and come into this encounter with Wolves at home after winning their last two games in a row. First was their narrow 1-0 victory over West Ham and then they went away and beat troubled Newcastle, which was an impressive result.

Chris Hughton’s team are now in 12th place and could, at least, move up another position with victory at the weekend. At home the teams form is mixed with with a loss and draw sandwiched into two wins and it’s fair to say that at this stage the club remain quite unpredictable and their eventual fall could be because of lack of consistency, something they are trying to rectify this weekend.

No sooner did Nuno Esprito Santo officially receive his manager of the month award for September and Wolves then dropped points last weekend losing to Watford, 2-0. It was a real surprise given they had home advantage and they had started their Premier League campaign in impressive form.

It was only Wolves’ 2nd loss of the season, and they still have 15 points and are still above the likes of Manchester United. This game at the tricky AMEX Stadium is sure to test their mental strength. The club have lost just 1 game away from home and have gone their last 3 matches undefeated.

Team News:

Brighton: Bruno has a back injury and is set to miss this game. Pascal Grob will hopefully be back after missing several weeks due to lack of match fitness. Glenn Murray is a doubt after his head injury against Newcastle

Wolves: No new injuries ahead of this game

Brighton vs Wolves Head to Head:

The last time the teams met here Brighton won 1-0.

Wolves have just 1 win away to Brighton since 2004 which came in 2016.

The last 7 meetings have all seen under 2.5 goals.

Brighton vs Wolves Prediction:

This should genuinely be an intriging game. A few weeks ago it would have been rather easy to call this an away win, but Brighton have upped their game and Wolves did lose last week. Our bet will focus on the goals market and we can see both teams getting something here. The match should open up right away and we should see a fairly entertaining fixture.

Brighton vs Wolves Betting Tips:
