Match Preview:

Bournemouth come into this game in 12^th place and it is clear that they have lost their early season mojo which saw them mixing it with the top 7 clubs. Their recent form is poor with 3 defeats in their last 4 games and they haven’t recorded a win since beating Brighton 2-0 at this stadium just before Christmas.

Still Eddie Howe’s side have been solid at home and two of their three defeats here have come against top opposition in Liverpool and Arsenal. At home they have one defeat in their past four and are on a two game unbeaten run. Their last home game ended in a 3-3 draw with Watford.

West Ham got a massive result last weekend by beating Arsenal 1-0 at home. The Hammers became only the 5^th team this season to beat Unai Emery’s men in the league.

That victory took West Ham to 9^th place and on 31 points and their objective now will be to climb to 7^th and hope for a last dash Europa League hope if the big guns win the domestic cups.

At times this season The Hammers have looked like a solid unit but they have had plenty of poor results too. Whilst they did lose their last away game to Burnley, before that they were on a 4 game unbeaten run which included 3 wins in a row.

Bournemouth: Callum Wilson will be hoping to return from his hamstring injury. While the club have some long absentees he is the only new problem injury wise for them

West Ham: Ryan Fredericks is nearing a return after missing most of the season. He now has fitness issues and could miss this game but is expected to resume full training. Javier Hernandez could return from a muscle injury but is also being linked to numerous clubs in the transfer window
