Bournemouth vs Leicester: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Saturday 15th September 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Vitality Stadium

Match Preview:

Bournemouth head into this game slightly punching above their weight in 6th place - we say slightly because form did start to affect Eddie Howe’s team before the international break.

A draw against Everton which was indeed a good fight back followed a 2-0 loss against Chelsea and this after the team had won their opening two games. Back at home they will feel confident of getting something from this game after their display against Everton as mentioned and they also beat Cardiff City here.

Leicester have been decent without being anything special but they are a team that you cannot quite write off in a game. They already have two wins under their belt but have lost to both Liverpool and Manchester United this season already although in both cases they were close games.

Foxes manager Claude Puel will be happy that striker Jamie Vardy has announced his international retirement giving all of his cause now to the club.

Team News:

Bournemouth: Charlie Daniels has a knee injury, Marc Pugh is still out with a hamstring injury

Leicester: Jamie Vardy returns up front after serving his three match ban

Bournemouth vs Leicester Head to Head:

This match finished 0-0 last season.

The last 3 fixtures either home or away has ended in a draw.

Bournemouth vs Leicester Prediction:

Both teams are in the same boat given their Premier League starts and both would probably be happy to earn a point after the international break. We feel the draw at half time could be a good option as some players will be tired after extra training this week. Both teams are still finding their feet, and alongside the draw at 45 minutes we feel this is a game where we may see few chances and hence few goals. Expect a midfield battle between two teams of the same merit and quality.

Bournemouth vs Leicester Betting Tips:

Draw at Half Time at 2.10

Under 2.5 goals at 2.00
