Match Preview:
Bournemouth’s last game before the international break was one for the ages as they came back from 3-0 down at half time against Luton to win 4-3. It was a home game and so the club got the luck to remain here for this one. It is very clear which of the two teams needs the win more as Bournemouth are very much safe now with 35 points and 10 games left to play. Indeed the Cherries are a whopping 14 points clear of the danger zone. Recent form has been good with 8 points won from their last five games and only one defeat and they have managed to go their last 3 games without a loss. At home it’s just four wins so far with the majority of the club's results either ending in draws and defeats with 5 a piece so far. Despite scoring four goals in their last home game Bournemouth are a club who have struggled to score goals at home and have 18 so far.
It’s been a couple of weeks for Everton who have seen one of their relegation rivals Nottingham Forest drop 4 points because of FFP rules and Everton manager Sean Dyche has come out and wondered if his club who face another charge will actually lose points this time? For now Everton has 25 points and are in 16th place and just four points above the relegation zone, but they are a club making heavy weather of results lately. Indeed perhaps the FFP charge and then the appeal for the club has glossed over the fact that they have no wins in the league this year and their form is amongst the very worst. Just 2 points have been won in the Toffees last five games and they come into this match having lost two in a row with defeats against Manchester United and West Ham. On the road it’s been almost four months without a win and although Dyche’s side are not conceding many goals with 21 lost so far they have only netted 14 times away from home.
Team News:

Marcos Senesi misses out also with a hamstring but is due back next week. Ryan Fredericks remains out long term with a calf injury

Bournemouth vs Everton Head to Head:
Last season Bournemouth won this fixture 3-0.
Earlier in the season in the reverse fixture Everton beat Bournemouth 3-0.
Everton have never beaten Bournemouth away from home in a league match.
Bournemouth vs Everton Prediction:
We go back to Bournemouth’s last game where we confidentially thought that Luton could beat them, because Bournemouth did not have much to play for in the league. They came back and won from an almost impossible position and that showed fantastic heart but it also showed too much naivety from Luton who will be lucky to survive in the league for this campaign. But can Everton do any better? The club has a chance to go past Brentford into 15th place and could well go 8 points of the bottom three with a win here, this is a huge game for the club. However time and again fans have been let down, not so much by overall performances but errors and a lack of concentration at times.
The worry for Everton is that in the last three games away to Bournemouth they have conceded 10 goals and this ground clearly is not a happy hunting place for them. We look at the form and stability and it is hard to see Everton coming here and getting the win they need. At the same time one wonders how long Everton’s poor form can continue for and the break can at times work as a new beginning for clubs such as Everton, but it would be a brave person to go for the away side this weekend.
