England Premier League
Saturday 22nd December 2018
Kick off at 3pm GMT
Venue: Vitality Stadium
Match Preview:
It’s 11th vs 13th and Brighton could leapfrog their hosts with a win when the two do battle on Saturday afternoon.
Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth are suffering their worst form of the season after losing 4 of their last 5 games. They have shipped 6 goals in their last two games and at home they have lost 3 of their last 4. It has been a worrying time for the side who started the league campaign so positively.
However the club will point to the fact that they have had to play Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City lately, which could be the reason the club have underperformed. What is for sure is that in some ways Howe’s team will be under even more pressure to win this game as it will be seen as one they should be winning.
Brighton have much the same form as their hosts and have lost back to back games coming into this one. Their loss last week against Chelsea may have been expected but the week before they were disappointing in losing to Burnley who have been pretty much poor all season.
On the road Chris Hughton’s side are in bad form with 3 defeats from their last 4 games and the problem they are having is scoring goals away from home, they have just 7 so far.
