Match Preview:
Bournemouth are currently in 11th place and everyone associated with the club would snap your hand off if they finished the season in that position. The club will play a very difficult tie against Arsenal albeit at home to round off Saturday’s games.
Bournemouth surprised a few observers in their opening game of the season to beat Aston Villa 2-0 although last weekend they came crashing back down to Earth with an expected loss at the champions Manchester City. In a way even though they lost 4-0 there was no shame, and those type of defeats away to Pep Guardiola’s side are going to happen, you dust yourself off and quickly move on.
After a few troubled seasons is this the one where Arsenal announce they are back? The Gunners have certainly started well and have 2 wins from their two games played. Mikel Arteta’s side beat Crystal Palace 2-0 and followed that up with an entertaining 4-2 victory over Leicester at home last weekend. Arsenal certainly look in great shape and the club will be very happy with new signing Gabriel Jesus who is already scoring goals and looks as if he has been playing with the team for several seasons.
Only two sides have a 100% start in the Premier League, Arsenal and Manchester City and given that City will play on Sunday, Arsenal will be guaranteed to be top of the league with a win here. Of course the Gunners will start as the odds on favourites to beat the newly promoted side.
Team News:
Bournemouth: Dominic Solanke will be assessed for an ankle injury and is touch and go to make this game. Jordan Zemura missed the last game through illness and will be assessed. David Brooks will likely miss out again due to fitness issues and Ryan Fredericks is reported to be 2 weeks away from a return due to a lack of match fitness.
Arsenal: Fabio Vieria could be ready for selection after some fitness issues and will be assessed. Nelson Reiss is out with a muscle injury with no fixed return date.

The clubs last met here in the FA Cup in 2020 with Arsenal winning 2-1.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal Prediction:
Arsenal should have few worries and win this game and with the way they are playing they will create many chances here. The Gunners are flying and whilst they will have much harder tests coming up we don’t see Bournemouth troubling them. Credit to the home side though they will put in a shift and will remember how they conquered Aston Villa here a couple of weeks ago. But this is a different level altogether.
What is so dangerous about Arsenal currently is how confident they are and that confidence has always been a factor with how the players have been performing over the past five to six years where they have really struggled. For now one could say that Mikel Arteta’s side are the most confident team in the Premier League. We believe that Arteta’s side will be top of the league come Saturday evening, however with odds to win of 1.40, we will increase that at no extra risk by using a -1 asian handicap.
