Man City who were meant to attack in their 2nd leg Champions League game against Monaco yet failed to deliver on the night. Lyon are known for being far stronger when having home advantage, domestically they have 11 home wins and 39 goals from 16 home games, yet away from home they only have 6 wins and 26 goals, making them far less potent on their travels, which is good news for Besiktas. There is a less noticeable difference in Besiktas' form when playing home or away, however they are more attack minded at the Vodafone Arena, scoring 10 more goals this season. Besiktas could be without a few key players tonight, with Vincent Aboubakar suspended and Ricardo Quaresma unlikely to play having picked up a muscle injury. Lyon don't have many injury concerns, however star winger Memphis Depay is ineligible to play. This could be a good match, with both teams being fairly evenly matched, however with Besiktas needing to win, that could well be the incentive required for them to at least get a draw out of this game, which would be enough for our selection to win.
