Match Preview:
The Sunday lunch time game will see Aston Villa take on Southampton in what should be a very interesting game.
Villa lost their 100% record last weekend when they were humbled 3-0 at home by Leeds United and two brilliant goals by Patrick Bamford. Until then Dean Smith’s side had stunned the league with attacking play that saw them demolish Liverpool 7-2 and go to Leicester and win their too. The club will be happy to remain at home and try to recover from that defeat with a win at the weekend.
Even though they were defeated heavy at Villa Park, Aston Villa need to look at the positives and that is they are in 3rd place and a win here could take them 1st if Liverpool lose or draw on Saturday, more realistically they have the chance to go 2nd and build upon their great start.
Southampton have been improving each week recently and they confirmed that last weekend as they became the first club to beat league leaders Everton, winning that game 2-0.
The Saints have risen up to seventh place with 10 points and a win here would see them make a splash into the top 5 and they would also go past Villa who could quickly slip down depending on other results. Southampton have no defeats in their last four games and that includes winning three of those encounters.

This could be a very close match and history says it will be packed with goals with the way the two clubs are presently playing we think this could be a good market to back.
