England Premier League
Sunday 11th March 2018
Kick off at 1.30pm GMT
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Match Preview:
Arsene Wenger has never been under this much pressure and his job seems to be in jeopardy as manger of Arsenal after 21 years. Losing back to back matches against Manchester City is one thing but losing to Brighton last weekend is another and even the players have spoken out about a loss of confidence within the squad.
The Gunners have lost 4 from their last five matches and are a massive 13 points from a top four place and a Champions League position. This has led Wenger to rule out playing in Europe’s elite competition unless of course they go on and win the Europa League.
Watford have been in good form with 3 wins from four games which has moved the Hornets up to 9th place and they will be safe this season. However their away form is very poor with no wins this year and 8 losses from 14 games played and it is fair to say that Arsenal will start this match as the odds on favourites despite their ‘crisis’.
