Match Preview:
Arsenal will be aiming to make it 9 wins in a row in all competitions when they take on Leicester on Sunday.
Unai Emery’s team have been the best team in the league based on recent form and there is huge confidence within the squad now. They have implemented Emery’s ideas to the book and he has injected belief in the players once more. This is the best run of form the Gunners have had in 3 years. Depending on results, a win would see them move into the top 3 which would be a huge statement for Emery’s appointment.
At the Emirates, apart from losing to Manchester City on the opening day, the Gunners have won their next 3 matches and for them it is about making the stadium a fortress once more.
Leicester have looked good this season but they are not being consistent enough and that is why they are in 10th place. A win would take them within 3 points of the Gunners so there is plenty to play for, but the odds do seem stacked against them. The Foxes lost 2-1 at home to Everton before the international break but before then they had won 2 games in a row.
On the road from 4 games they have 2 wins and 2 defeats and have beaten Newcastle and Southampton. There are question marks over the team when they face the top clubs and that is why they are big odds to win this game.

Leicester: Wes Morgan is suspened for 2 games starting with this one after his sending off against Everton

Arsenal are odds on to win but are still decent odds given their form and the fact they are at home. We can back them for around 1.50 when perhaps they would normally have been 1.30 so there is some value to be had there.
We expect Arsenal to ease to victory and score at least 2 goals and whilst Leicester will remain a threat, the longer the game goes on Arsenal should be able to show their superiority. Bottom line is that every player seems to be on the same page and with some tough fixtures coming up later in November and December these are the games where they need to be picking up points.
