Wolves vs Brighton: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Saturday 7th March 2020
Kick off at 3pm GMT
Venue: Molineux Stadium

Match Preview:

Wolves continue to impress and in that regard they remain a thorn in the sides of teams such as Manchester United and Tottenham who can’t press on for 4th because of them, and it has been a very successful season for the club who have been a very solid outfit in the Premier League now for the past two seasons.

The home side are in 6th place with 42 points, the same as Manchester United and just three points shy of Chelsea in 4th place and they will be the favourites to win this game. But what has been encouraging about the team has been recent form which has seen them go undefeated for their last four games and win their last two. They have beaten Norwich and Tottenham in their last two, and have scored 6 goals in those games, and also knocked out Espanyol in the Europa League, this is a team clearly in form.

Brighton have been poor recently although it must be noted that they did get a very good 1-1 draw away to Sheffield United last weekend. However they are just 1 point above the relegation zone and the threat of going down this season is still very real for the club.

If we look at the last 10 games they have earned just 8 points, and make no mistake that is relegation form. Away from home the club have won just 2 points from their last 15 and have lost 10 of their 14 games so far.

Team News:

Wolves: Morgan Gibbs-White has a knock and will likely miss this game.

Brighton: The club have no new injuries coming into this game.

Wolves vs Brighton Head to Head:

Last season this fixture ended 0-0.

In the last six games that have been at Wolves, Brighton have just one victory.

There is a 90% chance to see under 2.5 goals.

Wolves vs Brighton Prediction:

With the form that Wolves are in we can only see a home victory here. Brighton are fighting though and could well set up to defend and try and counter and taking a point away from Sheffield United last weekend has to be respected. But Wolves also have goals in them and a lot of talent up front and in the attacking areas. They are in a very good moment and we think they should be able to ease to a win without too much trouble. They may even push for 3 up front or at least in advance areas and this could cause Brighton all sorts of problems, when we think that they have conceded 40 goals this season.

Wolves vs Brighton Betting Tips:
