England Premier League
Monday 16th April 2018
Kick off at 8pm BST
Venue: Olympic Stadium
Match Preview:
West Ham’s victory over Southampton the last time they played at home cannot be underestimated, and could be the key to keeping the club in the Premier League. David Moyes' side followed that up with a superb 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, and now they will take on fellow strugglers Stoke and the home team will feel confident of another three points.
The Hammers have chosen a good time to hit form and if they beat Stoke they would go 10 points clear of them. The club have lost just 1 game from their past five and this seems like the perfect opportunity for another win.
Stoke fought hard against Tottenham and only lost 2-1 but that defeat was their 4th in a row and they stay in 19th place and six points from safety. Stoke have the 2nd to worst away record in the league where from a possible 48 points they have won just 8. Indeed they have won just one match all season on the road and are conceding on average two goals a game.
