Match Preview:
There is just one Premier League game on Sunday and it will be between Watford and Southampton.
Watford are in 16th place with 28 points and there is a real danger that if they do not pick up points soon they could be dragged into the bottom three. They are the last of the teams being threatened by relegation given that the team above them, Brighton, have gone 5 points clear.
Since the restart the Hornets secured a decent 1-1 draw against Leicester but then lost 1-0 to Burnley. In truth they probably deserved another point and at this stage every point counts. This is a huge match for the club and the feeling is lose this one and they will have a real battle to survive on their hands.
Southampton are in 14th place with 37 points and should be safe this season, though they would welcome another three points. They have won 1 and lost 1. They beat Norwich very convincingly after the restart 3-0 but then lost at home to Arsenal by 2-0. To make it worse for the Saints, Jack Stephens was sent off and the Arsenal loss was a reminder to the team that whilst they have had good wins this season overall there is a reason that they have been in the bottom half of the table for most of it.

Watford: Isaac Success is out with his achilles and he could well miss the rest of the season because of it
Southampton: Sofiane Boufal has a thigh injury but will be assessed ahead of this match. Moussa Djenepo is suspended for this game as is Jack Stephens. Pierre Hojbjerg has an ankle injury and is 50/50 to make the game

We believe this game for Watford will be like their previous game against Burnley and we don’t expect much between the sides. Watford need the result more but Southampton with the beating of Norwich have already proved their credentials when playing teams well below them.
The Saints will want to bounce back after defeat against Arsenal but don’t have a brilliant record over Watford away. Many Premier League games have very few goals in the first half and this is a market we should perhaps concentrate on given how close this game could be. The one worry for the Saints is that they could have a couple of players missing and will now have two players suspended for this game, this could all add for the club. They safest angle here could be goals, we see this game containing a few even if the bookies don't.
