Match Preview:

The game of the weekend in the Premier League will see these two giants go head to head at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Tottenham have been in brilliant form if we take out their shock 3-1 loss against Wolves and come here in 3^rd place on 48 points just 6 points behind league leaders Liverpool. They still have hopes to win their first league title since 1961 but they will have to keep winning games and can’t afford to drop too many points now.

At their designated home they have won 18 points from a possible 27 and have a better away record. Though they have only conceded 9 goals which is the 3^rd best record in the league.

Manchester United have been brilliant since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge and they have won their last 4 games scoring 14 goals in the process. This game has turned into a competitive one now that the Man Utd players are giving their all for their manager. United’s players have smiles on their faces and have just returned from a successful training camp in Dubai.

United’s target is now 4^th place and they are just three points behind Arsenal, though this game signals the first real test for the club under their new caretaker manager and some have suggested that Solskjaer has just been lucky with a run of decent fixtures when he came in.

Team News:

Tottenham: Moussa Dembele will miss this game due to a lack of match fitness. Eric Dier is out with a muscle injury. Lucas Moura will be assessed after his knee injury. Jan Vertonghen is 50/50 with a lack of match fitness but will be assessed

Manchester United: Eric Bailly is suspended after his red card and will miss this game. Alexis Sanchez should be able to make a return after his hamstring injury. Chris Smalling also has a chance to return after his foot injury

Manchester United’s big test to see how far they have come since the sacking of Jose Mourinho. In some ways Solskjaer can’t lose unless his side are heavily defeated. Tottenham should be installed as the favourites to win this game and are in great form. However they have lost key games here against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City. This will be a brilliant game and end to end stuff, but we do expect Tottenham to get the better of United here.
