England Premier League
Sunday 10th February 2019
Kick off at 1.30pm GMT
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Match Preview:
With Liverpool drawing their last two games prior to this weekend's game against Bournemouth and a wobble from Manchester City it has bunched the top 3 clubs a little bit closer and while Tottenham remain outsiders for the league title they are just 5 points adrift of both clubs coming into this game. There might just be a glimmer of hope for the North London club.
Since Tottenham lost to Manchester United they have won their last 3 games in a row and have remained a top 3 side formwise. Considering the problems that they have had with key injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli Spurs have coped quite well.
They have picked up 9 points from their last 15 available at home and will be favourites to win this match at Wembley. But of course there is frustration in the camp and maybe some anxiety over the teams delayed move into their new stadium which was highlighted by manager Mauricio Pochettino this week.
Leicester played well but lost last weekend at home to Manchester United by 1-0 and that latest defeat means that the club are officially going through a bad patch as they haven’t won a game for 4 matches now. However this is Leicester, a team who recently went to Liverpool and got a draw and you never quite know what version of them will turn up.
Despite their bad form they are a team who can still score goals, and in those last four games they have managed 6. Away from home they have receently beaten the likes of Everton and Chelsea and of course as mentioned drawn to Liverpool.
