England FA Cup
Saturday 17th March 2018
Kick off at 7.45pm GMT
Venue: Old Trafford
Match Preview:
So this is it for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, it all comes down to the FA Cup for this season. United were knocked out of the Champions League against Sevilla in mid week and it felt like the team had limped out rather quietly than give a traditional backs to the wall performance. Predictably Mourinho’s tactics have come under question and the money spent last summer is looking like a failure for the club this season.
United overall have been immense at home with just 1 loss in the league all season and they will start as favourites to reach the semi finals. Brighton by their standards have had a good season and they should stay up this year. They have got the unlucky draw, because if this was a home tie they would feel that they could give United a game. Their tactic will be to draw off of any negativity remaining after the Sevilla game. Brighton has a poor away record where they have won just 2 games on the road all season.
