England Premier League
Saturday 9th March 2019
Kick off at 3pm GMT
Venue: King Power Stadium
Just a few weeks ago neither Brendan Rodgers manager of Leicester or Scott Parker manager of Fulham had those jobs and both will clash with each other over the weekend.
Arguably it is Rodgers who is under the most pressure given that he saw his side lose his first game in charge against Watford. The Foxes come into this game with just 1 win in their past five matches but if they can win and Everton can lose they would move into 10th place.
Parker is on a win-win situation with Fulham who are 10 points from safety and everyone even the owner expects the club to be relegated. However he will want to prove he is good enough for the job and install some passion and heart into a club who need it.
The Cottagers have lost their last 5 games in a row and have not won a game since the end of January. Their away form is the poorest in the league where they are yet to win a game.
Leicester: The Foxes have no new injuries coming into this game
Fulham: Andre Schurrle has an illness which has seen him miss the las few games and he looks set to miss this match also. He is the only doubt for the club
Leicester vs Fulham Head to Head:
Earlier this season the teams drew 1-1.
The last time the teams played each other at Leicester was in 2013 where we were treated to a classic 7 goal thriller. Leicester won the game 4-3.
The last 5 fixtures have a 100% success rate to see both teams to score.
Leicester vs Fulham Prediction:
Fulham have been very poor and this is a very tricky away game for them. We expect at home Rodgers to get his first victory as manager and the team to be on fire from the very beginning. We will also back the ever reliable Jamie Vardy to score and opt for both sides to get on the score sheet because of the fantastic record of that happening in the past. More misery for Fulham is set to continue though.
Leicester vs Fulham Betting Tips:
Leicester to beat Fulham at 1.62
Both teams to score at 1.72
Anytime goalscorer: Jamie Vardy at 1.80
