England Premier League
Saturday 31st August 2019
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: King Power Stadium
Only 4 teams remain unbeaten in the Premier League after 3 games and one of those is Leicester.
The Foxes drew their two opening games which were tough ones to start with in Wolves and then Chelsea away from home, and in the Chelsea game they were a goal down. They finally picked up maximum points when they beat Premier League new boys Sheffield United at Bramell Lane 2-1.
The win was big for Brendan Rodgers team who had shown promise in their opening two games, and it is what the players have richly deserved. Returning home the club will be expecting to pick up another win. It is no surprise to see how well they have started given how Rodgers had impacted the team at the back end of last season when he was appointed manager.
Bournemouth have 4 points and there stand out game was travelling to Aston Villa and coming away with all three points in an enjoyable game that ended 2-1 to Eddie Howe’s side. Last weekend they inevitably lost to a very good and clinical Manchester City side 3-1, but they gave the champions a fright and never looked completely outclassed. Still this is a hard game to follow up that defeat.
Leicester: Ben Chilwell has been pencilled in to return for this game after his hip injury. Wes Morgan has a slight knock but could play, Ndidi has a hamstring problem but will be assessed ahead of this game. Matthew James achilles has gone again and he will spend weeks on the sidelines
Bournemouth: Lewis Cook is injury free but not fitness free and is expected to be ruled out of this game. Charlie Daniels is almost certainly out of this game with a knee injury sustained against Manchester City
Leicester vs Bournemouth Head to Head:
Last season this match finished 2-0 to Leicester, it was Leicester’s first victory over Bournemouth in 8 meetings.
There is an 80% chance that there will be under 2.5 goals.
Leicester vs Bournemouth Prediction:
Bournemouth will have their chances but we are going for a Leicester victory here and feel confident that the team will start by bossing the game and that is why our main choice for this will be to see Leicester winning at half time and full time. What was also important last weekend was that Jamie Vardy started scoring again, and it would be no surprise to see the forward get on the score sheet again. He scored the last time the teams met and he will be in good confidence coming into this game. We will ignore history and go for over 2.5 goals, mostly because we believe that the home side will start quick and create many attacks on the Bournemouth goal.
Leicester vs Bournemouth Betting Tips:
