England Premier League
Sunday 13th May 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Kirklees Stadium
Match Preview:
With all due respect to Huddersfield, this game means only one thing as all the eyes of the media will be focused on it - Arsene Wenger’s last match as Arsenal manager. It’s incredible how football can throw up such ironies and coincidences as Huddersfield will be the Wenger’s final match and a manager that the whole of Arsenal look up to in their history is Herbert Chapman, who once managed Huddersfield.
History aside the gulf in quality of both teams is huge and Arsenal will want to give their most successful manager of all time a huge send off.
From 54 points Huddersfield have only won 23 at home which has contributed greatly to their problems this season. However Arsenal have a very poor away record for a team of such quality, which in the end was the reason that they won’t be playing Champions League football next season. The Gunners have won just 3 games this season on the road, which if we took just away matches into account Wenger’s men would be in 15th position!
