Fulham still needing points to survive the drop will have an incredibly tough fixture at the weekend when they face in form Manchester United at Craven Cottage.
Four losses from their last five games has meant that Claudio Ranieri’s team are now a huge 7 points from safety and the odds on a recovery look bleak. However with 39 points still on the table everything is possible. Their latest defeat came against Crystal Palace away in a 2-0 loss. At home The Cottagers have faired better recently losing just 1 game in their past 4 matches and their last home game ended in a 4-2 win over Brighton.
Manchester United moved into 5th place and it was a long time coming, indeed it took six weeks of relentless form to do it and move past Arsenal. On form United would be top of the table and their latest match ended in a 1-0 victory at Leicester. The club have not lost a game since December and are still unbeaten under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United have won their last 4 games in a row away from home scoring 9 goals in the process and conceding just once. This game could give The Red Devils the opportunity to move into 4th place if Chelsea lose to Manchester City.

Fulham: Marcus Bettinelli has a knee injury and will miss this match. Timothy Fosu-Mensah cannot face his parent club United and will also miss this game as a consequence. Lazar Markovic and Havard Nordtveit both have fitness issues and are 50/50 for this game
Manchester United: Marcos Rojo is United’s only doubt for this game after receiving a knock in December which has kept him out this long. He is nearing a return but there has been no updates so far

As for United, one eye will be on their crucial Champions League first leg match against PSG in three days time but Solsjkaer will want a huge effort from his team on Saturday given that they have a good chance to go 4th.
Marcus Rashford has been getting some praise lately for his dedicated performances and we also think that he can get on the score sheet at the weekend, and the last time United played Fulham he scored. It’s very difficult to see past a United win here.
