Everton secured a solid 2-0 win away to Huddersfield last weekend and it was the type of away result that the fans have been calling for all season, although not the exciting performance they've all been hoping to see this season. It was also only the clubs 3^rd away win all season.

The Toffees can relax now until the end of the season and should finish in 8^th place which is very acceptable after a nightmare start. Burnley are six points clear of them and Everton are 4 points clear of Leicester so 8^th should be a realistic finish. At home Everton have won 10 of their 18 games and have lost just once in their last six games here at Goodison Park.

Southampton cannot relax and need the win. The Saints are in 18^th place and a win could push them out of the bottom three, this is a huge game for the team, but will be difficult away to Everton.

Recent form has been good with a win over Bournemouth and an away draw against Leicester. But on the road the Saints have a very poor record winning just twice all season and have gained just 2 points from their last five away games.
