Newcastle who have lost their last two games have slumped into 12th place and the pressure is growing on manager Eddie Howe. Normally when we see one manager sacked- this time in the case of Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag others quickly follow, so it is imperative that the Magpies win this game. Talking of slumps Arsenal have lost their edge lately and gone their last two games without a win and have fallen 5 points behind the league leaders. We expect to see a very frantic and exciting game.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Full time result (Draw) at 3.60, Anytime goalscorer: Alexander Isak at 3.25, A sending off in the game at 4.50
Bournemouth vs Manchester City Preview:
Bournemouth continue to have a solid campaign and have only lost once in their past four games, this includes beating Arsenal at home. Last weekend they also drew 1-1 away to Aston Villa and it is clear that the side are in a strong moment. Manchester City are in 1st place and lead Liverpool by a point but injuries to the likes of Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Savinho, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku could well scupper their usual dominance. Not many will go for the home win but we could well see a surprise upset judging by how well the Cherries have carried themselves in recent weeks.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Double chance (Bournemouth or draw) at 2.38
Nine games in and Ipswich are still yet to win a game and they have dropped into the relegation zone now. However a win here could well take them past Crystal Palace and into safety if Palace drop points. It doesn’t look good for the newly promoted side though who have lost their last three games. Leicester are in 15th with 9 points and their two game winning run came to an end last weekend as they were beaten 3-1 at home to Nottingham Forest, but the Foxes will expect to do better here.
Prediction: 3-1 to Leicester
Recommended Betting Tips: Leicester to beat Ipswich at 3.00, Correct Score: 2-1 or 3-1 to Leicester at 10.00 and 20.00
Liverpool vs Brighton Preview:
Liverpool relinquished 1st place to Manchester City but at the same time they came away with a good 2-2 draw away to Arsenal. The Reds had been behind in the game and picking up a point away to a title rival was an important one, they have also made it to the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup in midweek. Diogo Jota is ruled out and will be a blow for Arne Slot’s side. Brighton have gone their last 3 games unbeaten and played good football but they would have been disappointed last weekend to only draw 2-2 with a poor Wolves side.
Prediction: 3-0 to Liverpool
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Liverpool/Liverpool at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: Mohamed Salah at 1.91, Anytime goalscorer: Cody Gakpo at 2.40
Nottingham Forest vs West Ham Preview:
Nottingham Forest come into this game in 7th place and have lost just once so far. They have beaten Crystal Palace and Leicester in their last two games. West Ham were outplayed last weekend but they managed a controversial 2-1 victory over Manchester United. It was a much needed win for the Hammers and one would think they would need the same type of luck here in what should be a very tough fixture for Julen Lopetegui’s side.
Prediction: 2-1 to Nottingham Forest
Recommended Betting Tips: Nottingham Forest to beat West Ham at 2.10, Over 2.5 goals at 1.72, Anytime goalscorer: Taiwo Awoniyi at 2.50
Southampton vs Everton Preview:
Southampton are bottom of the league with just 1 point earned from a possible 27 and already they look like being one of the teams to be relegated this season. They have lost their last 4 games. One glimmer of hope was last weekend though when they found themselves 1-0 down to Manchester City after 5 minutes however it stayed that way, a small victory perhaps? Everton have gone their last 5 games unbeaten but with 9 points on the board will want to push for more in case of another slump. Everton have the chance to jump 3-4 places with an away victory.
Prediction: 2-1 to Everton
Recommended Betting Tips: Everton to beat Fulham Southampton at 2.50, Anytime goalscorer: Dwight McNeil at 4.50
Wolves vs Crystal Palace Preview:
Alongside Southampton Wolves have been the next poorest side in the Premier League this season and they have just 2 points so far. They did however claim a battling 2-2 draw away to Brighton last weekend so that shows encouragement. Crystal Palace have had a poor start to the campaign but they finally picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at home against Tottenham which should give them much needed confidence coming into this fixture. However we expect to see a very close game.
Prediction: 0-0 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Full time result (Draw) at 3.25, Correct Score: 0-0 at 10.00
Tottenham vs Aston Villa Preview:
Tottenham had something to cheer about in midweek as they knocked out Manchester City in the Carabao Cup. However the wider picture will reveal that City did not start with their strongest team and perhaps had other bigger competitions on their mind. But the victory was welcomed in part by a recent poor showing which has seen the club blow a two goal lead over Brighton and lose to Crystal Palace last weekend. Aston Villa have had a strong start but three draws in their last four games is stopping progression.
Prediction: 2-2
Recommended Betting Tips: Result: Draw at 4.00, Over 3.5 goals at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Richarlison at 2.50, Anytime goalscorer: Ollie Watkins at 2.60
Manchester United vs Chelsea Preview:
The big news this week for Manchester United was the sacking of Erik ten Hag after the club lost 2-1 to West Ham and the appointment of Sporting manager Ruben Amorim. The young Portuguese coach is seen as one of Europe’s best potentials however he will not be available for another couple of weeks so Ruud Van Nistelrooy will be in charge for this game. United are in 14th and seven points adrift of a top four spot. Chelsea are in fifth place and beat Newcastle 2-1 last weekend. The Blues are an improving side and have lost just once in their last five games but did lose their last away game which was against Liverpool.
Prediction: 1-1
Recommended Betting Tips: Result: Draw at 3.75, Anytime goalscorer: Marcus Rashford at 3.75, Anytime goalscorer: Cole Palmer at 2.30
Fulham drew against Everton last weekend but that would have felt like a loss given that they were leading 1-0 into the 95th minute. It means that Marco Silva’s side have not won in their last 3 games. Brentford with 13 points have one more than their hosts and could stretch clear of them with victory here, and have only lost once in their last four games. Last weekend the Bees beat Ipswich in a thriller that finished 4-3. As solid as Brentford have been so far they have amongst the worst away records with four games played and four defeats, that could be telling.
Prediction: 2-0 to Fulham
Recommended Betting Tips: Fulham to beat Brentford at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: Rodrigo Muniz at 2.40, Correct Score: 2-0 to Fulham at 11.00
