Midweek European Previews & Predictions by Kully Bahia

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich (18th April 2017)
Real Madrid come into this game at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, leading 2-1 after Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 100th European club goal. The 1st leg was thrown away by Bayern, who were clearly dominating the 1st half. They somehow let Real back into the game, through a quick Real attack, and then had Martinez sent off, for two bookable offences within minutes of each other. Real took full advantage, and have a commanding lead with 2 away goals. At home, Real Madrid are very strong and should be able to win the leg outright. Bayern are having a bit of a wobble, only winning 1 out of their last 4 games in all competitions. Already needing to score 2 away goals, just to level the tie, they'll find Real in great form. I can't see Real not scoring, and effectively that means Bayern will need a miracle of some sort. Back over 2.5 goals at 21/50, and Real Madrid to win at 11/8.
Score prediction: Real win 2-1 (Odds 17/2)

Monaco v Dortmund (19th April 2017)
Unfortunately the 1st leg of this tie was affected by the explosive attack against the Dortmund bus. Hopefully the 2nd leg will be trouble free, and great to watch. Leading 3-2 from the 1st leg, Monaco know they only need to draw at home, in order to progress to the semi's. However Monaco don't do draws, and I can't see any less of a game, than the 1st leg. Monaco will try to win the game, it's the way they play their football. They'll sit deep, and counter with great effect, which is how they netted against Dortmund. Expect Dortmund to play Christian Pulisic from the start, he came on as sub and his pace down the right caused problems for the Monaco defence. The absence of Reus on the left was evident in the 1st leg. Dortmund will need to find an answer there, if they are to overturn the tie. The pace of M'bappe caused problems for Dortmund’s defence, I expect him to hang on the last defender, and likely score for Monaco. Back M'bappe to score and Monaco to win at 17/5, and Over 2.5 goals at 4/11.
Score prediction: Monaco to win 3-1 (Odds 17/1)

Barcelona v Juventus (19th April 2017)
As I mentioned in my 1st leg blog, Barca have serious defensive problems. Already 3-0 down, they'll need another miracle, in order to progress to the semi's. However Juventus are the Italian masters of defence, and with a solid midfield, and pace upfront. Barca will need to score early in the game, if they are to put pressure on Juve, and then keep a clean sheet. Somehow I can't see Barca keeping a clean sheet, and that means they'll need to score 4 goals? This Barca team is coming to an end, some of them played at Wembley in 2011, when they beat Manchester Utd 3-1 in the Champions league final. Juventus will want revenge for the 2015 final defeat to Barca, and I suspect they'll get theirs at the Nou Camp this week. Back BTTS-yes at 13/25, and Over 3.5 goals at 7/6.
Score prediction: 2-2 draw (Odds 12/1)

Genk v Celta Vigo (20th April 2017)
Genk trail 3-2 from the 1st leg, and we're 3-1 down, but managed to score a 2nd away goal. How critical will that 2nd away goal be? But the Belgium league isn't as strong as LaLiga, and I feel Celta will prevail to the semi's. Celta rested 10 players against Granada on Sunday, who are now managed by Tony Adams, yet still won 3-0. Someone should put a warning sign up at la liga, not to employ British managers. Moyes, Neville, and now Adams, most current to fail miserably. Back BTTS-yes and over 2.5 goals at 5/6.
Score prediction: Celta Vigo to win 2-1 (Odds 9/1)
