Champions League Previews & Predictions by Kully Bahia

Arsenal v Bayern Munich (7th March 2017)
Arsenal are having their February Syndrome, it's when their fans realise there will be no silverware this season. Add growing discontent among the players, and you can get the bigger picture. Sanchez was dropped to the bench against Liverpool, apparently due to a bust up on the training ground with a fellow player? Liverpool were the better side on Saturday, winning 3-1, and Arsenal's defence and midfield were poor, struggling to stamp any authority on the game.
Bayern come into this game having beaten Cologne 3-0 on Saturday. They dominated possession, and appear to have hit form at just the right time, the business end of the season, which is something all great teams seem to be able to do. Bayern are a team with depth as well as quality, and some young players like Kimmich, Alacantra ,Coeman and Sanches, and prior to beating Cologne, they won 8-0 at home to Hamburg. Expect Arsenal to put in a good home performance in this tie, and Bayern could well rest some players in order to give some youngsters a chance on the big stage. Likely bet is BTTS at 21/50.
Score prediction: 2-2 draw (Odds 11/1)

Napoli v Real Madrid (7th March 2017)
The 1st leg of this Champions League tie finished 3-1 to Real Madrid, however did expose Real's defence. Napoli will fancy themselves to win the game, and if they can keep a clean sheet, extra time could prevail. Napoli beat Roma 2-1 away on Saturday, a very impressive result against the team who sit 2nd in Serie A. Napoli’s home form has been fairly strong this season, winning 9, drawing 3, and losing 2, however Real Madrid are very good at being decisive on the counter attack. Real have been poor in defence of late, letting in far too many goals, 8 in their last 4 league games. Despite Ramos being outstanding for Real Madrid last year, he and Pepe are over 30 and age is clearly catching up with them. Since going 40 games unbeaten, Real have come off the boil a little, expect them to sit back and counter with pace, and score an away goal. Likely bet BTTS at 41/100 and Benzema anytime goal scorer at 33/20
Score prediction: Real Madrid to win 2-1(Odds 8/1)

Dortmund v Benfica (8th March 2017)
Dortmund were unlucky not to score in the 1st leg of this tie, they clearly created enough chances. With the flair in attack, and home advantage this time round, Dortmund should be able to overturn a 1-0 deficit, although sometimes, the away goal is so vital in order to qualify. Dortmund's home form has been brilliant of late, winning their last 3 league games with score of 6-2, 3-0, and 3-0, and of their 11 home league games they've won 8 and drawn 3, remaining undefeated. Abumeyang and Reus have started to show the kind of form that has had them both linked with Europe's top clubs, however Reus was injured during the 6-2 win against Leverkusen, and this will be a big loss to Dortmund. Benfica come into this game with a 1-0 advantage. They know Dortmund will play a high pressing game, so will most likely need to score a vital away goal. The Portuguese Primeira Liga isn't as competitive as the German Bundesliga, with Porto and Benfica clearly dominating. Dortmund are clear favourites to win the game, and should be able to overturn the 1 goal deficit, and they've got some good youngsters in the squad who can replace the injured Reus. Likely bet is Dortmund to win at 9/25, and Aubameyang anytime goal scorer at 3/5.
Score prediction: Dortmund to win 2-0 (Odds 6/1)
