England Premier League
Saturday 21st September 2019
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Turf Moor
Match Preview:
Burnley will be looking for their first victory since the opening weekend of the season when they take on Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
Sean Dyche’s team are in 14th place with 5 points after a succession of negative results. Draws against Brighton and Wolves and defeats against Arsenal and Liverpool have not helped their cause as they try to shrug it off and get back to the drawing board and get those points on it.
Their only win this season did come at home when they beat Southampton 3-0. The problem for Burnley is that they are about to take on a side in Norwich who have just beaten the league champions Manchester City in the first true shock of the season. The Canaries didn’t just beat Pep Guardiola’s team they scored 3 goals to boot and will be feeling on top of the world.
Norwich needed that win and that put them up to 13th place on 6 points. The club have lost to Liverpool and West Ham on the road and remain a team that are inconsistent yet play good football. For many though the victory over City will be seen as a blip, a lucky game, and they will have to prove themselves all over again, win this and start a good run and Norwich could well be the surprise package of the season.
Team News:
