England Premier League
Sunday 15th September 2019
Kick off at 2pm BST
Venue: Vitality Stadium
Match Preview:
After a positive start that saw 4 points from their first two games Bournemouth have been brought down by a peg or two and come into this game having lost their last two matches. At the same time they have had two difficult teams to face in the champions Manchester City and in-form Leicester.
In those two defeats Eddie Howe’s side conceded 6 goals, and the club will need to shore up defence throughout the season unless they want a relegation battle on their hands, but they must look to the positives so far. Back at the Vitality it will be interesting to see if Howe goes for an attacking line up. Against Sheffield United the club only played 3 at the back, though when City came to visit Howe reverted to 5 at the back and just one up front, they still lost 3-1.
Everton really needed a victory and got one in their last game when they beat Wolves 3-2 in an entertaining encounter. In their previous match they had lost to Aston Villa, but only looked like competing once new signing Alex Iwobi had come on. It was no surprise then when manager Marco Silva opted for the ex-Arsenal man to start the game, and he also started Moise Kean and Richarlison, and suddenly the toffee men looked like having a lot of options up front.
Scoring 3 goals and getting as many points was terrific for the side but there must be a worry that they are libel to concede goals too- that’s 4 in their last two games.
Everton come into this game in 6th place with 7 points and a win could shoot them into the top 4.
