England Premier League
Sunday 26th July 2020
Kick off at 4pm BST
Venue: Emirates Stadium
The final games of the season will all be played out on the weekend of July 26th and what a strange season it has been. Because of the pandemic and Liverpool winning their first title in 30 years it isn’t a season that will be forgotten easily.
Arsenal have had a yo yo time of it and yet again this has been a season where the Gunners have had to be in transition. But there have been hints of things to come and the future under Mikel Arteta could be a bright one.
The Gunners will be up for this game in the final day of the season and playing their London rivals, a team who have struggled for most of the season could be the perfect tonic for Arteta’s team, however there could be a fair bit of rotation if Arteta is saving key players for their important FA Cup final game.
Watford will come into this game battered, bruised and fatigued and this could be a cricket score if Arsenal score early. Watford have looked jaded for a few weeks now and would normally try and sit deep tempting Arsenal onto them, try to soak up the pressure and then counter attack but they are likely to base tactics on how relegation rivals Villa are doing this time. If Villa are losing their game with West Ham, it might be that Watford will defend for their lives in the hope of a draw, as a point will be enough. However, if Villa aren't losing then Watford will have to attack and go for the win.
Arsenal: No new injuries, however squad rotation could be possible with the FA Cup final next.
Watford: Capoue, Deulofeu, Janmaat, and Success all continue to be unavailable.

Arsenal vs Watford Prediction:
This match could be a ‘relief’ game for Arsenal, which means that they can show their true colours with some of the pressure off and get a good result. The only concern is the upcoming FA Cup game, this could result in some rotation as well as players not being fully committed to this game. All this makes for a trickier to predict outcome than expected, hence the odds being nearly evens for an Arsenal win. We expect Watford to try and rough up the Arsenal players a bit, especially those wanting to avoid injury for the FA Cup final, so our main bet will be for Watford to have more cards during the game.
