Arsenal vs Burnley: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Sunday 6th May 2018
Kick off at 4.30pm BST
Venue: Emirates Stadium

Match Preview:

After almost 22 years this is it - Arsene Wenger will manage his final home game with Arsenal and it is set to be an emotional day for all. The Gunners can’t finish any higher than 6th and have lost 2 of their last 3 games although those losses were both away from home.

At the Emirates Arsenal have remained strong all season where they have gained 44 points from a possible 54, in fact Arsenal have the 2nd best home record in the league only behind inevitably Manchester City.

There is also something else on the line and that is Burnley finishing above Arsenal which would be realistic if they get a win here to level the points up at 57 each, though Arsenal do have a game in hand.

Burnley have been great this season but recent form has nosedived and they have gone the last 3 games without a win. The Clarets recent away form is very good and they are undefeated in their last 4 away from home, winning 3 of those but all of their opponents have been from the lower end of the table.
